A little further and you are about to rejoin the path, when the movement of the animal stops. It must have heard you, or caught your scent. And sure enough, a moment later, it is upon you. In a flurry of foliage and dirt, the Ratbear leaps from the undergrowth! You defend yourself as best you can.
