Cast DOZ in the tall grass

You cast your spell at the shape in the grass, and it begins to slow in its approach. So – a creature of some kind. But it is still coming for you. Albeit terribly slowly.

When the break in the grass is upon you, and you see what has made it – an enormous Serpent, its body the thickness of two broad men and its eyes red like stove-pots, lit with an inner fire.

The Serpent slowly rears up out of the grass and begins to bare a pair of enormous fangs! You are ready, with sword in hand, to take it on. And the Serpent looks to be moving in slow motion!

• Decapitate the beast before it can strike
• Make your escape
