You decide it's time to head home. That show sounds like fun, and it's been a long day. "Okay, Mom. Lemme grab another drink and hit the restroom. I'll be ready in a few minutes."
Florence looks a little disappointed, but smiles anyway. Tsu-Ni bows her head and says, "Ah, it's a shame we will have to wait to talk. But perhaps I will see you tomorrow?"
You smile to the dragoness and reply, "I'd love to chat with you more. I'm just tired."
Tsu-Ni smiles. "I understand completely. Get some rest." She leans a little closer and adds, "May you have pleasant dreams." She gets up and bows her head to Jenny. "Your son is more than I expected. I think he will do very well here."
Your mom grins back. "I know he will. I'm really proud of him."
The dragoness smiles. "As you should be. Good night." She turns and heads for the door, looking back at you with a demure smile before she disappears.
Valerie whistles. "I think she likes you."
You smile. "Seems like it." You turn to her and Florence. "Sorry I gotta ditch, but I'll enjoy chatting with you both tomorrow!"
Florence smiles back. "Don't worry about it. Have a good night! Let's do lunch or something."
"Sounds good," you say. "Be right back, Mom." A few minutes later, you meet your mom in the lobby. "Ready to go!"
About half an hour later, and after a good conversation about your day, the two of you arrive at home. Mom rushes to turn on the TV because the show is just about to start. You join her on the couch to watch, and the two of you just cuddle there for a little while.
As you both head for bed, you stop her in the hallway. "Hey Mom."
She asks, "What, dear?"
You smile. "Thanks. Thanks for taking me to your studio today. It was amazing." You mentally add, In a lot of ways.
She smiles back. "You're welcome, sweetie. I'm proud of you - Barbara told me after your tour that she was really impressed with you. And it looks like most everyone else thinks you're awesome too. You deserve it." She kisses you on the forehead and says, "Good night. Sweet dreams." She heads for her room.
As you gradually fall asleep, you think back to the day's events, especially the time you spent with Jill and Rebecca, and the clandestine groping that brought Valerie to orgasm. To the shock of the salary your new boss offered you, to the encouragement you got from everyone there. Even Reggie, in his awkward, sophomoric way, and Jim, with his deadpan just-here-for-the-work manner. You'll learn how to work with them.
You save your last thoughts of the night for Tsu-Ni. There's something about her, and not just that she's another dragon. You smile as you drift off to sleep, and dream about the future that awaits you at Mariposa Studios.
