The half-orc is clearly the leader. Remove the foundation of a team and the rest will fall on its own.

You immediately charge at him. The sword-wielding men move to attack you, but he holds them back.

"Stay back," he commands. "This is my kill."

We'll see about that, you think as you reach the bandit leader. There's a gap in his armour around his neck that you consider exploiting, but he's already lifted his weapon. Either way, you can't lose the momentum you've built up.
