You wander through the back of the bus terminal. You spot a row of vending machines and dig through your pockets, looking for change. You pull out a quarter, which promptly slips out of your hands and goes rolling across the floor. You chase after it and almost catch it before it falls through a metal grating. You peer through rhe grating but all you see is a dark hole.
You pry the grating up and reach your hand into it. You don't feel the bottom.
