Wake up your mother

You gently prod the sleeping she-cat. "Hey, mother!" You whisper, not knowing her name. "Wake up!"
She groans and sits up, blinking wearily. When she sees you, her eyes clear. They flood with relief for a second, but quickly turn annoyed. "Foolish kit!" She snaps. "Couldn't you see I was resting?!"
You crawl back into your nest, feeling mortified. Not only did you fail to do anything useful, but now your own mother hates you.
