You tell the girl your name. "I'm from across the hall. I just saw the door was open on my way out and wanted to see if anyone was okay in here."
The girl looks you up and down, still pointing the pistol in your direction. You both hear another explosion off in the distance, and you turn to look out the window at the fireball that rises into the sky.
"You got any goods in your apartment? Food, water, anything?" She asks.
