First, I am not really a grammar (femi)nazi or anything. I live in a country where English is not the native language, and where I hear many grammar mistakes every single day. Even my husband needs my help frequently. But, when reading a story, too many grammar mistakes can cause the reader to spend more time trying to figure out what someone is trying to say than enjoying the story. When I get caught up in reading, then run across mistakes, it can take me out of the mood the story is trying to put me in and cause me to sit there trying to figure out what the author is trying to say.

Here is a little story to sort of show this. It is about a girl, who wants to go to the park. And no, I don't want it fixed. All mistakes are intentional.
