Try and get a glimpse through the blinds

You creep around the front of the studio, trying to get a peek in between the closed blinds. You finally catch a glimpse of a ballerina's leg when someone taps you on the shoulder. A burly police officer gives you a nasty look. You try to explain that you're just looking, but he doesn't want to hear you. He drags you down to the police station and charges you with loitering.

You spend the night in a lonely cell.
