Go after Melanie
From Create Your Own Story
You grip your flashlight and run across the lot through the pouring rain. The man drags Melanie by her hair, and he's slowed by her fighting back. You find it easy to catch up to him, and you swing the heavy maglite around and catch him right along the bridge of his nose. His feet go out from under him, and he releases Melanie as he falls. When he hits the pavement, you take no chances. You give him another hard smack with the light to make sure he stays down.
Melanie grabs your arm and runs for the store. You amble along through the wind and rain, nearly blinded, until you reach the entrance. The door is shut, and as you try to pry it open, you find it's locked.
You glance around the parking lot, and realize that not only did the other girl escape, but she's run back into the store and locked it up tight behind her. No matter how much you pound on the door and demand to be let in, you get no answer.
"What the hell do we do now?" Melanie screams, panicking.
"The police station," you say. "That's all I can think of. There's nowhere else to go."
