You don't know where the dwarves are, but it's not as though you could miss them on the way. Their architecture is unmistakable, and their prideful arrogant nature is on display for miles as they carve great statues of past kings... or at least, so you've been told.
An uneventful day of travel comes and goes and the mountain pass still seems very far off. It'll still a few more days to go before you even get to the base of the mountains.you know your clock is ticking, but you don't know how long you have before your lack of sex is fatal. You have to make the decision to press on through the night and hope the extra exertion doesn't push the issue, or camp out and have the energy to carry on tomorrow.
