as the man turns around you take a theatrical stand, and... realize that the only spell you know is "fingercandle". trying to make the best of the situation you try to make it a very big fire. and this time it's actualy as big as your fist. but the man remains unimpressed.
"That's not very impressive"- he says -" can you actually do something useful? A divination, perchance?"
- nod, hoping it'll come to you when you need it
- admit you can't actually do anything esle
- ask what he means by "divination", on the off chance that you already know about these things
