Bring your husband, James, to your house

Another taxi has been called, and you and James wave goodbye to the other guests as you head for your house.
As soon as you get home you notice that Jack's car is sitting in your driveway. You suspect trouble may be brewing. The two of you enter the house together and instantly notice Jack sitting in a reclining chair. He has a large-caliber revolver in one hand and a half-empty bottle of scotch in the other.
As soon as James sees him lift the revolver, he attacks. His rage and desire to protect you cause him to shift on his own accord, and soon, Jack is splattered over your living room.
The wolf man is crouched before you; it clearly still recognizes you as its alpha. You are not sure how much of James is in there, but certainly not as much as when you guided his transformation this morning as the creature is not even able to speak.
