You pick up the little girl and tuck her under your arm. She's silent now, realizing something's very wrong but not knowing what to do about it. Adults are the authority, and now that one has hurt her so badly, she's in shock. You look around briefly to find that the rest of her class is still staring at you, in horror. They're also in shock. You growl and pull out your gun, and that seems to break the spell. They scream and scatter in all directions.

You feel excited again just by watching them trying to get away. The problem is that they are moving in different directions.
