You wiggle your eyebrows a little bit as you ask your question. He stares at you blankly for a moment, not knowing whether to run away or break down into tears.

Finally, he manages to stammer out a response. "My name is Steve."

Steve. What a beautiful, average name.

What do you do now?

• Take him by the hands and look him in the eyes.
• Say, "Is it hot in here, or is it just you?"
• Say, "Steve... What a beautiful, average name."
• Kiss Steve passionately.
• Decide this has gone on long enough, and leave Steve alone.
