You sit and wait on the bench. A few minutes pass, and before long you see a young man in his late teens (or perhaps early twenties) pass by on a skateboard. He's got highlighted streaks in his hair and wraparound sunglasses on his face, and as he rolls on by you can note his loose-fitting clothes.
Just as you turn to watch him leave, you hear a strange sound. It almost sounds like a mewl, and it's coming from the stand of trees behind you.
