However you ended up this way, you have nothing but the clothes on your back and your knife. You'll be rejoining the main story because it's too complicated to make an entire extra set of pages for this scenario, so remember that you don't have food or a map or a gun when I mention it later! You have to do something, though, so you look around. The area of the woods around you has a moderate slope. Shrugging, you pick a direction. Do you go uphill or downhill?
