You open the door and walk into what appears to be a study or at the very least was a study. Now is just a lone desk and a bunch of empty shelves. The desk was made from fine oak and a number of draws but after going through them you find nothing but dirt and spider or two. On top of the work space however you spot a pile of papers but after taking a closer look you realize they are a bunch of child's drawings. The images in each these pictures were both bizzare and frighting one of them being a small girl surrounded by demonic figures.

"The hell are these?" a bewildered Blake asks you but you shake your head. You are just a shocked as he is.

"This is creeping me out can we leave?" Jessica asks.

"You kidding me? We just got here! Come on we going let a few drawings spook us?" You say putting the drawings back on the table as you and your friends leave the room.

"Ok so we got three other doors to choose from. Which do you think we should choose?" Blake asks.

You open the door and walk into what appears to be a study or at the very least was a study. Now is just a lone desk and a bunch of empty shelves. The desk was made from fine oak and a number of draws but after going through them you find nothing but dirt and spider or two. On top of the work space however you spot a pile of papers but after taking a closer look you realize they are a bunch of child's drawings. Without wasting a precious second you run over and jump on top of the man and get him in a headlock. Blake then drives his fist into the man's stomach causing the stranger to fall back landing on top of you. The man attempts to pry you off but you only tighten your hold choking the life out of him. Blake pressed the attack raining down blows. But suddenly the man pulls something from his pocket and thrust the object towards your friend. Blake howls in pain as blood pours from his leg.

"GOD DAMN IT HE STABBED ME! FUCKING STABBED ME!" Blake cried desperately trying to pull out the pocket knife that was now lodged in his leg.

You wrestle with the man a little longer when you suddenly hear a *click*.

"Don't move!" Jessica screams.

During the melee you spot her standing with a pistol aimed with shaking hands.

Your assailant puts his hands up and you take this moment to distance yourself from him.

"I'm going to go off on a limb and guess that this chest belonged to the mother of this kid here" you say to your friends putting the piece of jewelry back in the small box before closing the lid.

You go through the photos one at a time closely looking at each image. They are pretty old to say the least. Some of them were in black and white while others with color.

The first was what appeared to be a family photo. Four men in their 30's and late 40's. Three women two of them in their who seemed to be about the same age as the men but the third looked to be barely in her 20's. Three children stood in the middle of the adults. A pair of girls and a boy.

The second photo was an old man sitting near a fire place with a book. He is well dressed and a mostly full head of hair. He has the look of a someone who has accomplished much in his life. The living room he was sitting in looks very much alike the one in this house.

The other photos were pretty much similar in theme. Families getting together, picnics,and birthdays.

The drawing is on a piece of plain white paper in this picture is what appears to be stick figure mother and her daughter. The mother has long blond hair and the daughther's was black. They are standing in front of a house that is strangely similar to this one in shape although the drawing is such a mess that it could be just a coincidence.

"Weird.." Blake mutters to himself.

"What?" You ask.

"Most of the stuff in this chest is rather old but this paper seems well almost new like this drawing was fairly recent." He explains.

"You little shi-" He begins ready to smash you head in only to get blindsided by Blake who tackles him and sends him flying into the living room.

Jessica helps you to your feet as Blake wrestles with the man. During the struggle you hear something skid across the floor away from the fight.

"Thats a..." You quickly realize.

You navigate through through the house carefully watching your step along the way. The floor had a dining room and living room in addition to kitchen. You don't see much of great interest aside from some pieces of furniture covered with tarps, a dirty fire place, and some rodents running around. It does not take you long at all to find the stairs.

"Its amazing that there are three other floors to this place," Says Jessica following you and Blake up the stairs.

"Well from what I could find out the family that owned this place were pretty well off" You respond.

"Maybe we'll find something of value here then" laughed Blake.

" I doubt it. Also we don't take souviners. Take only pictures and leave only footprints" You add.

Finally you reach the second floor. In front of you are two doors. One to your left and one to your right. At each end of the hall is a door.

"So which one should we open folks?" Blake asked.

Blake grins and pulls out his flashlight before slowly descending the dirt covered stone steps to the cellar. Once at the door he grabs the latch and pulls. The door was unlocked.

"It looks like they forgot to lock it" said Blake scanning the room as you and Jessica made you way down.

No sooner had you reach the last step. Something coarse and black lunged at of the darkness at Blake. Before you or Jessica could do anything the cat raked across the face leaving a bloody wound.

Blake screamed in pain and pushed past you to get back outside. Your friend's screams rouse the neighboring houses from their sleeps as the occupants; frightened men and woman come out of their homes to investigate.

You realize that the jig is up. You and Jessica help the injured Blake and flee into the night defeated.

"There is a kitchen over there," he says.

"You see anything else?" you asks you continue to ascened.

Blake looks to left and then suddenly screams.

For a moment the first thing that crosses your mind is that the cat had just spooked him but that completely changes when something strikes him across the face sending him tumbling down the stairs and crashing into you and Jessica.

The three of you are left lying in a heap with the wind knocked out of you. You manages to find the strength to look up the stairs to see someone at the top looking down at you.

"Who are you?! What are you doing here!?" A man's voice ask you. There seems to be feeling of urgency and fear in those words.

"Alright. Theres nothing great here anyways," He says and follows you and Jessica up the stairs.

The door at the top of the steps is luckily unlocked.

"Am I the only one who finds it odd that a place that suppose to be sealed off would have so many unlocked doors?" Jessica asks.

"Yeah a few stones and a piece of iron are not what I call a good security system," You answer.

"Hey you two are gonna stand here all night?" Blake questioned sounding obviously irritated by the little progress you have all made.

You walk over to the first door and open it. Inside is what appears to be a sort of study. A single desk and several shelves are all that is in the room.

You walk in and look at the shelves to see to no suprise that they are all empty.

The desk looks to made from fine oak and has numerous draws. On top of it something catches your eye. A pile of paper. Upon closer expection you see that all of them are filled with obscure childish drawings some of which are rather disturbing. Images of grotesque characters and an image of a little girl crying surrounded by demons.

A chill runs up your spine as you suddenly feel like something is watching you. Slowly turing around you spot a small figure looking at you from the shadows.

You walk over to the first door and open it. Inside is what appears to be a sort of study. A single desk and several shelves are all that is in the room.

You walk in and look at the shelves to see to no suprise that they are all empty.

"Quit whining" You say as you look at your surroundings.

There is a stove and fridge both covered with dust and cobwebs. The smell of rotting wood is thick and despite being no heat its rather warm in here.

You decide to go through the kitchen window. Sneaking quietely over in the cover of the shadows you and Blake grab on to the weak part of one of the boards and begin to wedge it loose. Jessica who is keeping a look out suddenly gasps as a light in one of the houses across the streets come on. You notice this as well and urge Blake to pull harder.

You actually manage to pry the board off and begin to squeeze your way in. Jessica slipped through with no trouble but the two of you had to help Blake due to his bulk.

It was a close call but you finally made it in. However none of you can see much save for a table, a couple of chairs, and some cabinets.

You choose to look around for a bit. Your friends can wait its not too cold out.

Turning on your flash light you find out you are standing in a large hallway with several rooms. Four to be exact. One is behind you the door shut. Two your right hand side. The third room is straight ahead you notice that the door is open but its hard to tell what is in there even with the light.

Looking to you left you see the stairs going down most likely to the first floor.

"I wonder where I should go first?"

The stairs creaked loudly with each step despite how hard you try to quietly. This place is pretty old.

You eventually reach the bottom and turn on your flash light using the beam of light to find either the kitchen or the basement.

"Damn I should have told them which entrance to wait for me at" You growled cursing your stupidity.

You search the ground for a few moments before picking up a good sized rock and chuck it into the corner. Exploding from the darkness with an angry hiss is a large boney black cat. The creature jumps onto the table and glares at you before taking off up the steps to your left.

"Well that was ominous" Jessica mutters.

The three of you enter the room as your friends turn on their own flash lights. You can quickly tell that this room was used for carpentry projects from the number of saws, hammers, sand paper, and adhesives left lying around.

"Weird that no one took these when the place was closed up" said Blake who was going through the shelves and boxes.

Jessica looks at her watch and then at you.

"Its getting late already. We should probably move on while the night is still young" she says.

You pull out your flashlight and make way down the steps beckoning your friends to follow. Your reach the door and after careful examination you noticed that its unlocked. Strange.

Opening the slowly you peer in and use the flashlight to spot any hazards like nails or rubble. In the corner of the room amongst some old cardboard boxes you spot movement.

"I see something" You whisper to the others.

"What?" Blake asked.
