From Create Your Own Story

Along with a small group mostly consisting of those who you've worked with for a while, you get up and leave.

You're in such a hurry to get out that you forget to change back into your normal clothes and give back the new equipment, and you don't realize it until you get home and take everything off.

You sit down and begin thinking about what to do now that you're out of a job, when your phone rings. It's one of your friends from work, one of the ones who left when you did, Aaron.

"Hey, Aaron." You say.

"Hey. I saw you left early like I did." He says.

"Yeah. I thought that was pretty messed up. I knew things were bad but I didn't expect to be drafted when I went into work today."

"Right? I'm glad we got the chance to leave though. Glass was giving me bad vibes."

"You too? She watched me change and I felt dirty. And is it just me or was her outfit a bit... I dunno..."

"Tight? Sexy? No that wasn't just you. I don't know what was up with her but she was giving me the most terrified boner I've ever had." He laughs a bit. "Well, I don't think going back to work is a good idea. What do you plan on doing?"

"I don't know yet. I just got home and realized I forgot to give all the new equipment back before I left. I don't know if I should take it back though."

"I'm sure they won't care. Whatever you decide, if you need my help with anything just let me know, I'll be home for a while." He says.

"I'll keep that in mind. Talk to you later." You say.

"Later." You both hang up.

As you hang up, you notice a group conversation taking place on a messenger app on your phone. Your two friends from outside of work, Caroline and Noah, brought you into a group chat.

PrettyBoyRN: Guys, shit's going down outside. PrettyBoyRN: Nobody's broken in here or anything but I'm afraid to leave the apartment. PrettyBoyRN: I can see people going fucking bugnuts trashing stores. They tipped a van a while ago. 3point5shots: Well shit. 3point5shots: I can drive to come get you but if things are that bad I don't feel safe going alone. Can you hold on til Lucy gets off work? PrettyBoyRN: I guess as long as nobody comes to the apartment. PrettyBoyRN: Shit I just heard gunshots! 3point5shots: Shit. Lucy, it'd be great if you stayed home today. NotASmartPerson: I don't think I need to tell you this but stay inside, keep the doors locked, turn on the TV or something but don't draw attention to yourself. PrettyBoyRN: Yeah OK.
