You step through the portal marked "Mass Effect" and feel a strange falling sensation as the world around you goes black. Suddenly, your body comes to a complete stop and you slowly open your eyes. You observe your surroundings to be the one and only captains quarters of the SSV Normandy SR2! You rush to a mirror and realize YOU ARE COMMANDER SHEPARD!
