The Captain Speaks

Captain Koessler strides forward to face the obese and obtuse pirate captain opposite him. The pirate snarls and giggles.

"Everyone stand down." Koessler shouts. Your fellow crewman stop shouting at the pirates, and most of the pirates follow suit. "What is it that we can do for you?" Koessler asks the bemused corpulent captain.

"I think I'll be the one asking that question," the pirate replys.

"Very Well. We're the crew of The Raven. We've come to Quetzalcoatl to salvage technology and mine for Grav-Rock." Captain Koessler responds coolly. "Now your turn."

The big-boned and fugly captain laughs long and loud at that, spraying spit all around him. Recovering, he replies: "Fair enough captain. Fair enough. I am Captain Tolrus Cagney and this is my crew." There are hearty grunts of assent from his crew. " We came here to kill everyone and secure this area for our employers. I believe that's them now." Cagney gestures upward with his Plasma pistol as an enormous black space cruiser soars overhead coming to a landing nearby.

"Now, I'm more a man of practicality than of cruelty. I don't really know what Crimson Federation wants with this place, but it stands to reason that they could use an experienced crew of diggers. They might even offer a... modest... fee for such services.

"I suppose they might." Captain Koessler responds, cynically.
