"Don't see you running away," he says, and steps ahead again. He's standing a little over you, slightly closer than polite, his bearded face looking down into yours with a wide grin.
"Uh," you say.
"How 'bout it?" he says, and reaches forward with one hand, hooking his finger in your belt. "How about you and I step into the bathroom, and you suck my dick..." He winks. "Or more."
You open your mouth to answer, and then something strange happens.
The lights go really dim.
“It’s Friday night!” a man’s voice announces over some sort of speaker. “Time for Blackout at the Midtown Pub!”
The bar has been filling up for some time, and at the dimming, there are cheers. You look around, confused.
“Blackout night,” the daddy bear says, over the hoots and hollers. "Perfect timing."
“What’s blackout night?” you ask.
He leans in, and you can feel his beard against your ears. “Last Friday every month, the lights go down, and the place gets wild.” He tugs on your belt again.
"How about it?" he says.
