As it turns out your vote was the one that decided that he would be declared guilty because the voting ended almost immediately after your voting. You feel confident in your choice of locking the scientist up for the crimes. You believe now the murders will finally end and you were a hero for helping with that process.
After work you go to see your close friend who is working as a surgery intern. He says "Hey can you believe it took them that long to lock him up? With all that evidence I was surprised they even went to a public jury." You briefly think that maybe the evidence was a little too convenient but what is done is done.
You and your friend decide to go to a restaurant. After eating you and your friend have to walk in the alley behind the restaurant. Suddenly a door is opened and a man comes out carrying a chef's knife. He stabs your friend then tries to stab you but you block it and knock the knife out of his hands. Suddenly he pulls out a laser gun and blasts you though the heart. You fall down dead.
Despite your wishful thinking that the police had found the right man they were wrong and the killer claimed more victims including you.
