The professor looks equally disappointed, but not angry. “I admit I am a bit disappointed, but I think I understand your decision. Just know that if you were to change you mind-“ he pauses, fishing around in his inside coat pocket for a moment before finding what he’s looking for. “Here’s my card, give me a call anytime.”
You take the professors card and stick in into your pocket.
