Perhaps it is the look of the crude huts and miserable fields either side, or perhaps it is simply a feeling in your gut. Either way, you leave the path and head off through the scrub, walking perhaps a mile or so out of your way to avoid the town.
Looking east, there is a glimmer of blue. The sea! Below the shorelines are the caves of Gaddu-Lay, a place they say is haunted by spirits.
