"Deputy Stuart," you whisper his name. You sit up in the cold chair, cross your legs, and push your hair behind your ear. "How many months will I spend in jail then?" you ask in a somewhat stupid-sounding manner.
"At least three months," Stuart replies, "and at least a year if it's manslaughter."
You frown and whimper at what he said. "Even a pretty woman like me can go to jail?" you ask him.
"Sure," Stuart says, his face suddenly becoming nervous.
