You dial 124 and press the activate-button. Off you go, whizzing through the fabric of reality. As you come to your senses, you can see that it's dark, but not absolutely pitch black. There's a lit electric lamp on the wall. You look around for a bit, and see that you're in a mine of some sort. There are railroad tracks and piles of ore scattered about everywhere.
