You kiss him again to shut him up and then walk away. He stutters something but you just smile. You finally had the guts to tell your best friend about your crush. Maybe he will like you back and maybe he will reject you completely.
You head to class. Jemma Barnes winks at you when you sit next to her. You dated her once but all she wanted was to marry you. She's a hot redhead but you have your eye on Franklin. She leans toward you and whispers about a movie on Friday night. You nod unconsciously, causing her to squeal. Friday night was actually the big soccer game. Your coach had said that this match defined the school's ranking in Soccer leaderboards.
The day lasts very long and Franklin purposefully changes direction when he sees you.
