You sit up and give a soft hiss as you stretch, then finally get out of bed. Yes, you are a Xenomorph, bladed tail and all! Well, law demands you wear a guard over the tip and the sharp objects on your limbs to prevent cutting anybody just walking by you, but still. You have black, chitinous skin, an eyeless face, fierce fangs, and four-toed feet.
You take a glance out the window of your room. The old bear that runs the bodega beneath your apartments is putting out the trash, cars are already cramming down the one-way street, and a courier rabbit is dashing down the sidewalk at obscene speed on his bike. Nothing new out there.
