You feel this is not appropriate, at the moment, and you don't want Linda to get into trouble. You put your binoculars away and get yourself dressed, after freshening yourself up.

You go downstairs and meet with your mom and your 14 year old sister, Grace.

Mom: Hello, son.

Grace: Morning, big brother.

You: Morning Grace, mom.

Mom: I made you an egg and bacon sandwich.

You: Smells great. Thanks, mom.

Mom: Your welcome, sweetheart.

The three of you sit together having breakfast, until your mom mentions you and your sister about something important.

Mom: I got a call from Linda's mother. She said she and her husband suddenly got a call from her office about an emergency meeting tonight and wants us to take care of Linda.

You: Really? What you say?

Mom: I said it's impossible because I'm going out tonight with my friends. I did say if you two aren't free tonight then I would consider it.

Grace: But I'm going to Helen's slumber party, tonight. I can't just cancel to look after Linda.

Mom: I understand, but this is Linda.

Grace: Well, shouldn't Oliver look after her instead? He's old enough to look after her for just one night.

You: ...

Mom: I don't know about that.

Grace: Oliver, convince mom you will be okay without me.

Mom: Oliver. You're still a young man, but will you be alright tonight?

You: Well...

You were left surprised that something like this would happen. You wanted to prove that you are responsible and that you might need help from either of them, but you also wanted this to be the night that you'll finally have the chance to be alone with Linda.
