"Katie, would you mind going with the boys?" Katie's mom asked.

"Mom, I'm naked! I can't do that!"

Katie's mom sighed. "Such a selfish girl I've raised... oh okay then, you big baby. I'll take the boys back, if I have to."

Their mother climbed to her feet and began to gather her things. Katie, meanwhile, quickly turned over so that she was lying on her front and hopefully hiding as much of herself as she could from the awe-struck boys staring at her. With great reluctance they followed her mother into the forest, back towards the cabin area. Their eyes never left her naked, oiled form until the treeline blocked her from view.

"God that was humiliating." Katie said.

"Funny, though." Emily replied with a cheeky grin.

"For you maybe."

Now that they were alone, Katie climbed to her feet and covered herself with her hands. Emily watched her, still wearing the same grin, as Katie began to scan the ground.

"Looking for something?" Emily asked.

"Yeah, the bag with my bikini in it. Where is it?"

"Oh, mom just took it with her. Didn't you notice?"

"I was trying to hide myself from those boys! Why didn't you say something?!"

Emily's grin widened. "Like I said before; because it's funny."

Defeated, Katie sat down on her towel. She pulled her knees up to her chest in order to cover herself.

"You're my big sister, you know." Katie complained. "You should be looking out for me, not trying to humiliate me for a good laugh."

"Oh, you're too serious you silly goose." Emily replied. She reached across and slid her arm around her sister's shoulder. "Look, we're out in the middle of nowhere, and nobody you know is here other than your family. Does it really matter if a bunch of strangers happen to see you naked?"

"I don't see you taking your clothes off."

Emily shrugged. "I'm the older sister. I'm supposed to be all serious and responsible, and that means keeping my clothes on."

The elder sister moved back towards her own towel, lay down and closed her eyes. Katie sat curled up in a ball, her gaze shifting nervously around the trees and lake for any sign of movement. After a few minutes she heard Emily's breathing soften and enter a regular rhythm.

"You awake?" Katie whispered.

There was no response.

Katie looked up at the sky. It really was a lovely day today. Dare she lie down? Could she sit like this until her mother returned with her bikini? The cramps that were beginning to agitate her legs told her no.

Warily Katie stretched out on the towel, letting her hands drop to her sides. She felt a little thrill of naughtiness, exposing herself to the world this way, but it was quickly overridden by her embarrassment at the situation. Instead she turned over, and lay on the towel face-down.

Without realising it, she soon fell asleep.
