You are part of the Galactic Marine unit on Mygeeto, under the command of General Ki-Adi Mundi. You've been deployed to this hellhole for 4 months now, freezing your dick off while fighting a massive droid army. Not to mention the creepy monkey-people that live here. You are currently on watch duty. You are supposed to be on lookout for a droid assault.
You look out on the city before you. The place is a mess! Years of endless fighting have reduced this city to a smoking pile of rubble, with about half of the buildings still standing. The Republic should have abandoned this world long ago, but instead they pull General Mundi's unit off Geonosis and stick your asses here.
As you stare out at the disaster zone before you, someone approches you from behind. You turn and see...
