Your name is Liah Kestrell and you are 15 years old. You live in the kingdom of Fillandria, a walled city with the best defences in the world. You dream of becoming a knight; a hero, but unfortunately, as a female you could never become either of these. You wake up, light and sound streaming in through your window. You get dressed and step out onto the street. One of your friends, Parryn, is outside. He looks distressed. What do you do?
