When you created the Earth, you had no idea what enormity the humans would end up inflicting unto each other. As God, you hold the power to smite those who deserve it. You are omniscient, and that means you possess the knowlege to judge humans--namely, if they should live or die.
So, which lowly humans do you find it appropriate to kill?
