You wait at your home untill the party starts.
It isn't long untill you see all of your family. A couple of your friends showed up, but John is no where to be seen.
You turn to Mitch, a friend.
"Hey," you started,"have you seen John anywhere?"
"Sorry, bra. I didn't see him today."
Well, that sucks. He also said he had a special gift for you, too.
"But, hey, we showed up though." Mitch said.
You didn't reply.
The party starts to get pretty generic at the start. You thought that the party might get more exciting when Mitch decides to jump down off the roof. It didn't, though.
It was time to open your presents.
Mom gave you a sweatshirt (as usual. You thank her for it, though). Your friends couldn't afford you anything, but they all gave you an attitude. Mitch gave you a cool hat. You thought to yourself,"Finally, something I actually want."
Everyone left and no sign of John. You can't believe he stood you up. It isn't long after the party when John texts you.
