The young man stares at you as you slow the bike to stop in front of him. He doesn't blink. He doesn't speak. You're not sure he's breathing until he drops his cardboard sign and tries to apologize.
"I..uh..."
He grasps at the sign. It reads Anywhere but here. He's unable to find it because his eyes have never left your naked tits.
"Uh...the sign, I mean..."
Your teeth are chattering from the cold, but being stationary is allowing the blood to return to your limbs. Your fingers are nearly blue, but you force a smile.
"Hey."
The young man jumps as if you slapped him. He gives up on his sign and absently scratches at the beginnings of a beard.
You press him. "I'm cold."
