You don't want to take any more risks today and decide to head out of the fire escape. You open the window and climb out, carefully remembering to close the window behind you. You experience a bit of vertigo but end up safely back in the alley in which you woke up.

You can hear the faint sounds of the men wreaking havoc in the apartment and you feel a bit of remorse for the woman. You wish you could find out more about yourself from her but it seems almost impossible now. At least you look clean and almost normal (aside from the swollen eye). The clothes are still the ones you woke up in, but you borrowed a brown leather jacket from the woman to hide the grime of the t-shirt but also to keep you warm in case you had to spend another night outside.

The sun is going down and the air is getting chilly. You dig your hands deep into the pockets of the jacket. You feel something brush your left hand and you pulled it out. It's a wad of $20 dollar bills! You shove the money back in the pocket with surprise. There must be at least $500 dollars in the wad. Things are getting very strange and you are starting to believe that you are involved in it all somehow.
