You decide to wait for the bus.

You find a room at one of the hotels, and wait the night out. In the morning, though, the weather has gotten worse. Rain has taken out a bridge between you and your destination, and the road into town is flooded. You're stuck.

You phone up the firm and appraise them of the situation. Your boss opts to send Michael over, and have him travel by another route. When you can safely leave town, you'll join him in Schlecter Vielfrass and the two of you will work together on locating Walfreid von Furchstam.

You check into your hotel, which could generously be described as rustic. After dropping your bags off, you figure you should start your search.

Before you can think of where to start, your cell phone goes off. It's work. "Hello?"

"Melissa, we haven't heard anything else from Michael yet. Will you see if anyone knows where he is? He should have been staying at the same hotel as you."

"Sure," you say. You can't suppress a bit of worry for your friend. This isn't like him.

Where should you start? Should you:
