After another moment of looking around yopu decide that your best bet for survival is to climb through the window and run away.

You push the table over to the air vent in the back of the room and climb up onto it. Lucky for you, the grating over the vent snaps off easily. You jump up into the vent, but unlucky for you, the vent is too small for you to fit through. You get squeezed inside the air vent, unable to go forward or backwards.
