New page

"Greetings, friends," you say in a conversational tone as you sit at the table.

"Shhhh," whispers a hooded man, annoyed. "Are you new here?"

"Yes. May I join your game?"

"If you can play Six Skulls, I guess you may," he shrugs. "But you pay for a round of rum."

You call for four rums. As soon as they are served, you deal the first hand and a new game begins. The three men, who were having an apparently important conversation not two minutes ago, become very tight-lipped now that you are with them. When you attempt to talk about the elections or captain von Carstein, they ignore you or, at best, answer evasively. One of them in particular never misses an opportunity to subtly remind you that your presence irritates him.

Maybe you should instead try to [[eavesdrop]] on conversations or [[chat with the lonely individual]] you see a few tables away.
