Leaping into the air, the first blood goes to the rat as it flails its claws towards the young girl. Getting a minor slice to her arm, Serenity swings back with her sword to land a clean slice towards the rat right in its gut. It lands with a hard thud and squirms knowing that it's been hit. It slowly bleeds out and dies there on the spot.<br />

Grinding her teeth, Serenity looks at her cut and shakes off the pain.<br />

The death of the rat alerts all the others that stop their feasting and charge for the girl.<br />
