You inspect the lock. It is iron: strong and sturdy, a complicated-looking mechanism. The bars are solid, and close together, and the dead creature can only barely fit its head through them, slumped to the floor as it is after you pulled it through to meet its demise.

You smile pleasantly at the shivering pack of robed creatures, and consider how to escape.
