Stephen committed a terrible crime and he's going to spend many years in prison, and because of his scrawny build he'll get buggered up the ass day in and day out. We can have our revenge that way, nice and legal."

Annabelle nods. "You have a point there. The other prisoners will give that little shit what he has coming."

Six months later, you and Annabelle are in the audience as Stephen is sentenced to 15 to life. Both of you make sure to catch his eye and smirk, laughing at his terror. Ana holds up her hand and you high-five it.

Although you go out for a celebratory lunch together afterward, and you have become close emotionally, you remain in Annabelle's friendzone for the rest of your life. This whole thing did bring you closer together, but that one extra spark that might have let the relationship turn sexual was missing.
