You know that you're not only great and skilled and pretty but also wonderful, yet you are not stupid. Going adventuring alone? No chance in hell. You decide to go and find an adventuring party in need of a skilled rogue, meaning you. And where else could you find them better than in taverns?

Not now of course, it's early morning, but this evening perhaps.

During the day you stock up on your bolts for your hand crossbow and go grab your repaired set of thieves tools from a local blacksmith. You spend the day visiting some friends and hanging out with a few local lowlives who are friends of the family, before going to find companions at the evening.

Dressed in your dark brown leather armor and your hood down you prowl the taverns on the hunt for a suitable group of adventurers for you. Finally, after several tries, you get lucky.

On a table in a rather modest tavern you find four fellows, drinking their drinks and discussing loudly their next steps. Apparently they are tasked with finding a band of hobgoblins hidden in the east and they are sure that these buggers will have set traps in whatever damp hole they have retreated into. You listen for a while, trying to find out what sort of men they are and who is in charge, staying close and remaining unnoticed. Or simply ignored, most likely.

There is a human cleric of, you think, Tempus, the lord of fighting, battles and war. The guy certainly looks like it, being rather burly and thick with a face constantly balled into a fist. Then there is a ranger, a lean man with a serious expression, long black hair and two large dogs curled up next to him. There is also a magic user, yout think more likely sorcerer than wizard, you have so far not seen a spellbook. This young man is extraordinarily pretty, for a human, with sparkling eyes, exotic features and clothes which sit well on him. The last of them seems to be the leader, a lanky, blonde human in a heavy armor, a shield and a well used sword only an arm's length away.

Making a decision you take another sip from your ale and step up to them... which looks rather funny, you're sure, as you are barely taller than the table they are sitting on. "Forgive me sers, but I could not help but to hear that you are adventurers and in need of someone skilled with the disarming of traps. As it happens, I am skilled in the disarming of such contraptions, among other things."

They eye you carefully, before the blonde warrior pulls up a chair for you and says: "Well, you're right, we are in need of a skilled rogue. So, do you have any experience in this regards?"

"Not much outside of Waterdeep, but I assure you, there is enough adventure to experience inside the city walls", you reply with your best smile.
