"Sure," you answer. You don't think you'd survive very long in your present state... not without making it obvious that you recently had something shoved into the wrong hole several times over. You giggle internally as Mr. Thoring nods and writes you a note to the nurse's office.
It's well know that a trip to the nurse equals a trip home, as they can't question or refuse your "I'm in pain" declarations without opening themselves to rigid lawyer attacks, so he simply writes "overwhelming pain" and sends you on your way.
You reach the nurse's office with seconds to spare before the masses stream into the hall; disaster narrowly averted. Instead, you walk slowly up to the nurse's desk--the pain doesn't need to much faking--and hand her the note.
You're on your way home within five minutes, after they'd called your mother for directions: you got to walk home, because she wasn't available. Even she didn't trust your father with you.
Once clear of the gates, you've a decision to make...
