The nameless tavern is quieter and cleaner than most. In the dimly-lit main room, a dozen masked and hooded patrons drink in silence or discuss in a low voice. You ask the barman some wine and are surprised to receive a cup of fine Bretonnian vintage instead of the poor quality stuff you were expecting. This is obviously not a place for boisterous thugs, but the people here look no less dangerous.

It may be cautious to stay discreet and just eavesdrop on conversations, but perhaps you will have more success if you join a trio playing cards at a table or try to chat with the lonely individual sitting in a corner.
