The Zoo/Apologize
From Create Your Own Story
"I'm sorry, Oscar," you say, standing up. "I didn't think they were that big. Are you okay?"
"Aww, no worries, dragon-dude. I'm okay," he says, and apparently he takes 'forgive and forget' literally. Suddenly, there's a commotion on the other side of the enclosure and you see the other animals hurrying in that direction.
"What's going on?" you ask.
"Food!" Oscar says and grabs your hand, pulling on you. "C'mon, or we won't get any."
"What do you mean?" you ask, following him. "We should get some. We earned it."
"Well, that's not how it works around here," Oscar says. We reach a crowd of animals, the horse fighting with a bison over a few apples, an elk and a ram butting heads over a head of lettuce, and everyone else standing back and watching as the wolf and tiger devour a pile of raw, bloody meat, snarling and growling at each other as they stuff their faces. Oscar slips between a boar and a giraffe to grab a fat, silvery fish out of the pile, but as he darts away with it, he's pounced upon by a lynx, who takes the fish.
