Chapter 2: A Parents Sacrifice
A month had passed since Samantha had broken up with her boyfriend
She was glad she had the support of her parents through her break up
She has since breaking up focused on her study, she was already top of her class but she found no harm in getting the best she could out of her education
She sat in her room at her desk writing an Essay on Racial Discrimination.
As she finished her second paragraph she heard a loud crash from downstairs
She slowly walked down the staircase and peeked into the kitchen
Her father was on the ground holding the side of his face
"You know that you can't screw us around don't you?" said a tall guy with big muscles
"Yes, I know... Just give me a little more time" said her father
"Time? Sure... but you know our time doesn't come free right?" Said a man with a scar down his left arm
"I can afford it... How much do you need?" asked her father
The scar-armed man smiles
"Your daughter..." He says wickedly
Samantha heart skipped a beat
"I can't do that..." said her father getting to his feet
"You don't have a choice... You are out of time" said the muscle man
"I'd sooner give my own life than give you my daughter" growled her father
"That's fine with me..." said the scarred man raising a gun to her fathers head
"Nooooooo, Don't do it!" screamed Samanthas mother from the other side of the room
The scarred man looks around and grins followed by a loud bang
Blood covered the white wall behind her father
Her mother started screaming at the top of her lungs, Samantha sat there frozen she couldn't believe what she saw
Another bang is heard and the screaming from Samanthas mother stops.
"Lets get out of here" Said the scarred man
