Piggy's Day/Life isn't that difficult

Piggy: "Ah, screw it! Life isn't that difficult."
You kick the glass of the vending machine in, and just as you're about to take the key, Theodor reaches you.
Theodor: "You know, Piggy, I agree. Life isn't this difficult. I think we can still find a peaceful way of solving this."
Piggy: "Really?"
Theodor: "Yes, come down. I have an idea!"
The professor takes you to the University CT-scanner.
Theodor: "Using this thing, we can scan your brain safely, and determine how we can build a computer mimicking a person with a Savant-syndrome."
Piggy: "Hey, don't CT-scans cause cancer?"
Theodor: "Meh. Maybe."
Later on, after examining the x-rays.
Piggy: "Did you find anything?"
Theodor: "Possibly. I can't say anything for sure in such a short period of time... Oh, except that your tumour now has cancer."
Piggy: "What!? Get it off! Get it off!"
You try and pull the tumour off with your bare hands.
Theodor: "That's not going to work!"
But then it does. You pull off the tumour. But your brain is still connected to it. You die, you dumb fuck. Then, Theodor's assistant emerges from another room, carrying a strange machine.
Theodor: "Well, it looks like you've won the bet."
Assistant: "This alternate-reality machine is really something!"
Theodor: "Let's have a few more goes. What time period should we use?"
Assistant: "I'd give him three hours."
Theodor: "That's going to take quite a lot of tires. Oh, well, it's your call. Right, if he dies within three hours, you win."
The assistant presses a button, and they both dissapear into an alternate reality to observe your day from the beginning. You are Piggy. You sit on your armchair one early morning, reading a book in dim light. Line after line becomes more blurred in your eyes, and you feel tired.
Piggy: "Eh, I don't feel like reading at the moment."
As not to fall asleep again, you decide to find something else to do.
