You rip the phone from the wall and toss it out the front door. You are just about to open your mouth to ask about the backup plan when a voice booms through the air from outside. Goddamn it, you hate being interrupted. "This is Daniel Swaim from the New York Police Department," came the voice of Daniel Swaim, from the New York Police Department apparently. "We're tossing a phone. Please pick it up." There's a crash as the hardened phone crashes through the front window and lands at your feet. A cord runs from it back outside.
